- Domus is located in the heart of Reykjavik, only a few steps away from the busy Laugavegur shopping street, the city center pond and gardens, and Icelands finest restaurants, museums, cafés and bars.
- Domus Guesthouse is a very attractive stone building in the heart of Reykjavik at Hverfisgata 45. This was the former Norwegian embassy and before that a known singing school in Iceland.
- The guesthouse is within easy walking distance from the main shopping district, Laugavegur. Further more the Icelandic opera, the national theatre and the culture house as well as many galleries, museums, clubs, restaurants and cafés are within 3 minutes walking distance.
- You will find a warm reception at Domus and moderate prices, we take pride in our personal service and friendly environment making sure that you will feel right at home during your stay with us.
- We have 12 spacious twin rooms with shared bathroom and shower facilitys and space for 22 in a dorm with sleeping bags, making accommodations for as many as 46.
- We also have three family apartments with a privat bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen, private washing machines and dryers and a sleeping area for 4-6 persons.
- Made-up beds can be provided in the sleeping bag areas, with as many as four sharing each space.
- Breakfast is included with accommodation in rooms. Those who make use of the other accommodations can get breakfast at a reasonable price.
- Room and dormitory guests have access to guest fridges to store their own food and drinks. Also guests have access to our kitchen every day.
- Our check in time is from 14:00-03:00, please note that most flight from the USA arrive in Iceland between 06:00 and 08:00 in the morning.
If you wish to check in early we can offer you the night before you arrive for half price.
